This foundation is critical for providing the most advanced treatment and to determine the necessity for medication or other types of therapeutic interventions."

I have many years of experience in diagnosing and treating mental illness as well as maintaining mental health. I have training in diverse areas of Psychiatry, including: Addiction Medicine, Community Mental Health, Clinical Research, Inpatient Psychiatry and Private Practice.
Research background
My research background includes working with Neuroimaging leaders at both Mount Sinai, ( Richard M. Pico ) and NYU, (E. Roy John). Learning from these brilliant leaders provided me with a foundation for understanding the biological basis for mental illness.

Approximately, one in every four to five youth in the U.S. meets criteria for a mental disorder with severe impairment across their lifetime. Relieving mental suffering is a critical and attainable goal in modern Psychiatry.
